The Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp is the sister property of the Elephant Hills Camp. However, this unique resort is floating on the emerald green Cheow Larn Lake right in the heart of the jungle.

The Rooms
The 20 Luxury Safari Tents are fully furnished with an en-suite bathroom with hot & cold water shower, a solid self-made double bed or two twin beds, electricity and a lot of small details to guarantee the comfort you desire.

The Facilities
The Rainforest Camp consists of two floating semi-open-air restaurants with a bar, coffee and tea station, and a dining area. Maps, info boards as well as books about Khao Sok National Park, its history and the wildlife it inhabits are available here as well. In front of each tent guests will find their own kayak, so that they are able to explore the surroundings at any time – for example to watch the sunrise or sunset.

The floating Camp is the perfect place to explore the stunning jungle lake it floats on as well as its surroundings. To protect the environment, the camp is designed in a sustainable way by using solar and wind energy and using a unique waste management system.

An overnight stay at Rainforest Camp is included in both Jungle Lake Safari tour packages, but this camp cannot be booked individually. All Elephant Hills tour packages include and start with the Elephant Experience and an overnight stay at The Elephant Camp where guests get a chance to interact with the gentle giants and to learn more about this endangered species.

Elephant Hills offers two to four day soft adventure tours in and around Khao Sok National Park. All packages are fully inclusive of accommodation, full board, activities as per chosen itinerary, an English speaking Thai tour guide as well as joint transfers to and from Elephant Hills.

Highlight of each tour is the camp's unique Elephant Experience, during which guests will get to wash, feed and interact with the gentle giants. Besides that, guests have the option to observe the breathtaking landscapes while lazily being paddled down a river in a canoe, explore mysterious mangrove swamps and legendary jungle lakes full of limestone formations, relax at deserted beaches, visit local markets, discover primary rainforest on foot and much more.

All tours are suitable for most levels of fitness and for all ages. We recommend this camp for children starting from 8 years old.
