Sri Lanka, Iceland, St Lucia & The Grenadines

Steffi Shaw

I was fortunate enough to travel to some beautiful destinations growing up as my parents worked in the airline industry. I quickly developed a love of travelling and a couple of countries in particular caught my attention. I spent 10 days in Sri Lanka with a friend and fell in love with the country and its people. I delayed my flight as I didn’t want to leave and 2 months later I had returned to live and work on this incredible island.

Sri Lanka has so much to offer with its numerous national parks, safari lodges, tea estates nestled in the lush hills, cascading waterfalls, cinnamon plantations, an abundance of wildlife, endless beaches, colonial towns, and the friendliest people I have come across.

Iceland is a truly unique country with its awe-inspiring landscapes, steaming volcanoes, vast glaciers, black sand beaches, beautiful fjords and unparalleled waterfalls, not to mention the lovely people and delicious food. Whether you’re looking for an action-packed adventure or for a relaxing, memorable spa and city break the Land of Fire and Ice is waiting to be discovered.

Having recently taken over St Lucia & The Grenadines from a colleague of mine, I can’t wait to reveal the exciting new itineraries I’ve been working on and to add some incredible new hotels to our current villa and hotel portfolio. St Lucia is not just mesmerisingly beautiful, it’s bursting with vibrancy and culture and there’s so many things to do so it’s unlike any other  Carribean destination.  St Vincent & The Grenadines are a true haven, waiting to be discovered. They are a relatively unknown  belt of islands, in Caribbean terms, with only 9 that are inhabited. Each has something entirely different to offer so it’s important to choose an island(s) that will suit your particular tastes and offer you the best holiday possible!

I currently live in the UK and love nothing more than being able to offer advice or to discuss and plan incredible holidays to this special country. I count myself lucky that I am able to combine a love of the outdoors, my spirit for adventure and exploration with visiting beautiful boutique hotels in some incredible locations and meeting some of the kindest people I have come across.

Sri Lanka

“There is no better place to be in Sri Lanka than up in the hills, staying on a former tea manager’s estate surrounded by beautiful gardens, lush vegetation and being treated like you’re the only person on the planet.”

Iceland

“I highly recommend visiting the beautiful North, the lesser known East Coast or the Wild Westfjords so you can really get off the beaten track” – Steffi Shaw, Sri Lanka & Iceland Travel Specialist
