Travel 3 countries and see the best!

Tanzania

During the Safari & Primates itinerary, you enjoy game drives in the Lake Manyara National Park and the famous Serengeti. As a matter of fact, Lake Manyara is also called the jewel of Africa. This is because it is nestled in a breath-taking landscape. Since it is surrounded by a narrow green belt of forest and towered over by the majestic escarpment of the Rift Valley. By all means, it is only understandable that this graceful place represented the most beautiful thing that Ernest Hemingway had ever seen in Africa.

Additionally you will visit the Serengeti National Park during the Safari & Primates tour. In fact it is Tanzania’s oldest park. Above all, it is world famous for the annual natural spectacle of animal migration. Hence, six million wildebeest hooves start moving! Furthermore, 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson gazelles join the procession. But this natural wonder also has something impressive to offer outside of the hikes. All in all it also offers large herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, several thousand eland, lyre and hartebeest, impalas and Grant’s gazelles.

Kenya

Furthermore you visit the Mara North Conservation Area. Given that it borders the famous Masai Mara Reserve to the north. As a matter of fact, operating privately by the Maasai who live there. Especially here is where millions of animals roam the savannah in search of fresh pasture. For ths reason, lions, hyenas and cheetahs lurk behind bushes looking out for their next meal. Moreover, see rivers populated with hundreds of hungry crocodiles. The great migration runs far through the Kenyan country. In other words, from the Serengeti in Tanzania over the Masai Mara and on to the Mara North Conservancy.

Rwanda

Undoubtedly, Rwanda is one of the exceptional parts of the Safari & Primates tour. After all, it offers the unique opportunity to see gorillas in their natural habitat. Certainly this is an unforgettable, some even say life changing experience. In this case, encounters with gorillas are carefully managed. While expert trackers and guides take you up the bamboo-covered slopes to see the primates after your safari tour. All in all, you spend a precious and awe-inspiring time and most of all, just a few feet away from these gentle creatures. Presently there are twelve gorilla families living in the Volcanoes National Park and fully habituated. In addition, a few others habituated solely for scientific research. The troops consist of at least one silverback along with several females and youngsters.

Golden monkeys are a rare species that are endangered at the moment. They are currently found in the Virunga Mountains in Rwanda. The golden monkeys are generally more active than the gorillas therefore making it an more active tour.
