The west coast has diverse views, all of which are dramatic. From the villa's terraces one looks along the coast of swirling rock formations and across the sea to the tip of AntiPaxos.
Chara has big, natural views over gently swaying, silver leaves of olives and "at attention" cypresses.
Below the villa is a small creek with bathing rocks. A pathway leads to the creek – a walk of 10 minutes. Avlaki beach is a walk of 15 minutes.
The swimming pool has a 2.5 metre drop on 3 sides so not recommended for toddlers.
Chara has spacious and comfortable interiors opening out on to spacious and comfortable exteriors. A special escape from the crowds.

Daily maid service and linen change twice weekly.
Location: car hire recommended. The villa is reached via a bumpy track of ½ kilometre from the tiny village of Velianitatika, which has a supermarket and just outside the village, a local taverna. Gaios is a 5 minute drive. The surrounding area contains many ancient pathways for west coast walks through olive groves.
Accommodation: single storey of an open-plan sitting room, kitchen and dining area; four double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom.
