An exclusive 5-star lodge, Savanna is situated in the internationally famous Sabi Sand Reserve within the greater Kruger National Park Conservancy.
The three 'flagship' executive suites have private plunge pools, indigenous garden area and are large enough to accommodate a third person.
Of equal standard, the four luxury suites are slightly smaller, still offering a spacious 'room' and plunge pools.
The suites are decorated with hand embroidered wildlife designs, rustic reed blinds, coir carpets and built in lounge area with scatter cushions. All are en suite, air-conditioned and have a well stocked mini bar. This all combines to offer a very luxurious African tented stay.
The Savanna suite comprises of 2 luxury en suite bedrooms with private plunge pools and views over the waterhole. Spacious bathroom and indoor/outdoor showers. The suites are interlinked by a passage-way joining a lounge and kitchen area. Ideal for families or 4 adults wanting an exclusive safari. You will have your own butler and vehicle with ranger.
Savanna lends itself to the "Out Of Africa" camp feel, and staff are friendly and committed to service. There is an open-air boma for meals, an indoor lounge, bar and dining room for cooler nights, as well as a well-stocked curio shop and library loft. Views open out to the surrounding African bush.
A central swimming pool offers the perfect place to refresh after a bush walk or game drive.
A typical stay includes all your meals, selected alcoholic beverages, laundry services, teas & coffees and game activities. During the day when its hot animals seek shelter, so activities are done in the early mornings and afternoons into evenings. Your day starts with a morning drive before returning for a hearty breakfast. After brunch you can join on a nature walk with your ranger and tracker. The day is for relaxing before the afternoon game drive.
For the more romantic, bush breakfasts and dinners can be arranged. Guests can also visit the nearby Shangaan cultural village to learn more about their African culture (not included in price).
This camp is ideal for honeymooners and discerning travellers. Unfortunately only families with children over the age of 8 years will be accepted.
The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is home to a large selection of game, including the Big Five, eland, crocodile, hippo, warthog, cheetah and a large variety of antelope.
