The Riva Surya boutique hotel ticks all the boxes to be one of our favourite places to stay in Bangkok.
Riva Surya is surrounded by some of the city’s most treasured historical sites like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho temple and the National Gallery. Pier 13 is situated next to the hotel which makes it easy to get around: Just hop on a speed boat leaving to the city centre and the Saphan Taksin BTS station every 15 minutes, or book one of the long tail boats to explore the city’s klongs.

The hotel has four room categories:
Urban Rooms are facing the tree lined Phra Atit Road and have a private balcony with a view of low-rise old shops and houses of the old town. Due to the double glazing, guests won’t notice the potential noise from the street.
The Riva Rooms are facing the river but do not have a balcony. They are tastefully decorated with Thai furnishings and a comfortable armchair.
A stunning view of Chao Phraya River welcomes you as you enter the 40 sqm Deluxe Riva Room. Contemporary Thai furnishings and comfortable armchairs extend to a tilted balcony.
The Premium Riva Room offers the same facilities as the other rooms in a space of 48 sqm.
Connecting rooms are available as well.
The Babble & Grill restaurant offers a beautiful outdoor terrace with stunning views of the Chao Phraya River, serving traditional Thai and Western cuisine. Unwind in The Garden for intimate meals and cocktails.
After a day of sightseeing, enjoy a drink at the riverside bar, just steps from the restaurant and swimming pool. Relax by the large terrace while soaking in the spectacular riverside scenery.
