One can choose from a range of various activities and tours to better understand the Pantanal habitat, like horse riding, canoeing, hiking, nocturnal walks, photographic safaris and the famous jaguar spotting trip.
There is a swimming pool with waterfall, grass volleyball court, pond with pedal boats, 2 observation towers, playground, game room, boats and horses.
The pousada has 33 accommodations, of which 20 Standard apartments, 09 Luxury Suites and 01 Master Suite. All rooms are equipped with split air conditioning, Wi-Fi, intercom, safe and private bathrooms. They are basic but offer comfort and we suggest to ask for the rooms away from the reception and restaurant area as they are a newer addition and more private.
When booking Pousada Piuval you will enjoy a full board package with the tours mentioned above included and you will have an English speaking guide. Meals are served in a buffet style, there is good variety but do not expect high cuisine. Nevertheless, Piuval has been tried and tested by us and we enjoyed its charm and services.
