Whilst there is mobile connection at the lodge it is a strict Mala Mala policy that no mobile devices are allowed on game drives due to the critical rhino poaching situation in South Africa.

Exceptions on the game drives will be made if parents book a sole use vehicle. Depending on the party size this is possible however if you are a larger family group of up to 6 people then a vehicle will be allocated to the group by default as this is the maximum seating on the game vehicles.

The main focus of your stay at MalaMala is on the game viewing experience and being in the prime location, directly bordering the Kruger National Park (no fences) this is exactly what you can expect to experience with 13 500 hectares of prime game viewing bush.
