We love boutique hotels but we also love private villas - our concept for jalakara was to take the best bits from each and roll them into one.

jalakara offers the informality, homeliness and bespoke possibilities of a private villa with the private space, service and staffing of a small hotel. We aspire to a house party experience where guests naturally meet over sundowners at the pool bar or making a pot of coffee in the main villa kitchen.

guests are encouraged to unplug and log off from the digital excess of modern life and reconnect with themselves. we do not offer in-room audio-visual flatscreen entertainment, instead, log on to the beautiful tropical surroundings and the analogue pleasures of zero pollution, good food, good company, playing games, reading, swimming, massage, hassle free beaches and the great outdoors.
