Founded by photographer Rob Drummond and his yoga instructor wife Lara Baumman, Tri is a fusion of their respective expertise: art and wellbeing.

Tri has ten accommodation units spiraled around the resort and each was designed with a commitment to sustainability and tasteful aesthetics. There are three rooms available in the converted water tower found at the heart of the resort. These water tower rooms each contain a king sized double bed and offer stunning views towards sunrise and sunset.

The two lake suites are spacious, beautifully furnished and each has a private balcony with lake views. They also contain a king sized double bed and a day bed, which can be used as an extra bed if needed.

The three lake villas are quite large and also have private balconies with lake views. Like the lake suites, they each have a king sized double bed and a day bed. One of the villas has its own private 4m plunge pool and pool deck.

The family villa consists of two neighbouring lake suites each with its own king sized double bed and day bed. Ideal for families, it can sleep up to 6 people and has its own private 4m plunge pool and private garden.

The Tri villa is perfect for couples seeking an indulgent escape. With a soaring ceiling, two private balconies, private 4m plunge pool and a large deck, it offers the occupants a luxurious stay. It also contains a king sized double bed and a day bed.

The resort has many facilities on offer to its guests. Take a swim in Tri's 21m swimming pool, unwind with a good book in the library or pamper yourself with a visit to Tri's spa. One of Tri's highlights is its treetop yoga studio. Here guests can take yoga classes led by Lara Baumann who has trained celebrities, such as Sienna Miller and Gerard Butler. Kayaks are available for those who want to explore Koggala Lake. Tri's restaurant serves up Sri Lankan cuisine with a contemporary twist. The food is made with fresh, local produce, some of which is grown in Tri's own gardens.

Tri is a 25 minutes drive to Galle. Galle, a former Dutch colonial town, is now a busy commercial city with a thriving arts scene. Here you'll find Galle fort, a UNESCO world heritage site, as well as boutique shops and cafes.

Tri is approximately a two and a half hours drive from Colombo international airport. Children under 12 are unable to stay at Tri.
