Flameback Eco Lodge is located within the Weerawila Bird sanctuary in southern Sri Lanka, southwest of the Yala National Park. Weerawila attracts a diverse range of bird species each year to roost and nest and being located alongside the Weerawila reservoir, Flameback Eco Lodge attracts thousands of local and migratory birds who roam just outside the lodge.

There are 7 luxury tented lodges, each with plenty of privacy and the rustic appeal is complimented with modern conveniences. Each have a private, wooden deck with a direct view of the lake, a king-sized bed, air-conditioning, Tea / Coffee making facility, safe deposit box, wifi and 24 hour power supply. The Honeymoon Suites are larger and have a private jacuzzi pool.

Flameback offer a stay on a B&B, half board or full board basis, and many activities are available including cookery demonstrations and bird watching. Local excursions can be arranged to Yala National park, Uda Wallawe National park, the botanic gardens and turtle hatcheries. At the camp there is an infinity pool, restaurant, lounge bar and even a pool table.
