Arrive in Slovenia’s capital, the small yet vibrant Ljubljana. Often described as the hidden gem of Europe, Ljubljana has preserved its small-town friendliness and, at the same time, it has everything all the larger capitals have. In the summer, cafes set up terrace seating along the river, giving a relaxed Mediterranean feel, while in winter it takes on a dreamy central European character.
Check into your hotel for the first of two nights and enjoy a relaxing 30 minute massage each to start you off on your wellness journey.
The day is free for you to explore this easily walkable city. Stroll along the meandering Ljubljanica river and stop in the many of the cafes along its banks. Visit the famous Ljubljana Castle and take in the breathtaking views.
Pick up your rental car and begin your journey to Portoroz. On the way stop off and wonder at the magical underground world of Europes most visited tourist caves, the Postojna Caves. During an hour-and-a-half-long guided tour, the unique tourist train will take you to the underground network of karst corridors, galleries and halls.
Continue on your way to Portoroz, where in the heart of the picturesque Istrian region, on the shore of the Adriatic Sea, the Kempinski Palace Hotel is your home for the next three relaxing nights.

Portor0z is famous for its spa traditions, in the 13 century the Benedictine monks treated their patients with sea salt and mud therapies. Experience these treatments with a visit to Lepa Vida Thalasso spa at the Piran saltpans.

Later that day why not visit the picturesque medieval town of Piran.
An early start to a day that will leave you breathless from the alpine scenery and finish at Lake Bled. Depart Portoroz at 7.30 to arrive at Most na Soci train station. Here you will have the unusual experience of a motorail train, where you load your car on and spend 40 minutes travelling through the mountains, while you relax and take in the sights.
Stop off at Lake Bohinj and fully immerse yourself in the glory of nature.
If you can drag yourself away from the tranquillity continue on to Lake Bled for your two-night stay. Opt to have a full body massage or facial that evening or the following morning.
Wake up and take in the real life fairytale that is Lake Bled. You have the day to explore. Build up an appetite by hiking up to the various viewpoints around the lake, visit the Castle Bled, row over to the island and ring the wishing bell, even jump in the lake!
After all that activity indulge in the famous Bled cream cake. Later help ease your muscles by bathing in the hotel’s pools of mineral water.
Before you leave Lake Bled, don’t miss Vintar Gorge, A ravine about 4km from Bled, its thought to be one of the most important sights in Slovenia. About 1.6km long it weaves its way through the valley, with waterfalls, pools and rapids and showcases the wonders of nature in every season.
Give yourself about three hours to drive to your final destination, the spa resort town of Rogaska Slatina. Here you will discover the unique water Donut Mg. This special water has the highest concentration of magnesium in the world.
Today you will enjoy all of what the Spa town of Rogaska Slatina offers. Soak in the thermal pools, use the steam and sauna facilities, be pampered with your choice of x4 20 minute treatments each. and of course take part in the x3 a day drinking therapy of the mineral water Donut Mg.
