There is a choice of standard and superior accommodation which are built to blend into the natural environment.

The standard en suite rooms are set in the garden and each have their own patio with mountain views. There is a selection of standard double or twin rooms, family rooms (3 beds) and the interleading rooms.

The superior rooms and suites are larger with lovely views of the surrounding Drakensberg mountains. The rooms range from superior double/twin rooms, family suite and interleading rooms. The superior suites also boast a fire-place.

Those looking for some pampering can indulge in treatments at the newly completed spa, set in a fern forest.

Your stay at the Cavern is inclusive of 3 meals a day, tea served at 11am & 16h00 as well as guided morning hikes and evening entertainment. Children are welcome and during meal times there is a nanny in the playroom to watch them.

The Cavern is set in 3000 hectares of private mountain wilderness, adjacent to the Ampitheatre Royal Natal National Park - a World Heritage Site.

The Cavern is located within easy driving access from both Johannesburg and Durban and is easily included into a holiday including the rest of Natal. Couples and families are welcome at the Cavern.
