There are eleven spacious colonial suites equipped with air-conditioning, Victorian ball-and-claw bath, indoor and outdoor double shower, fully stocked mini-bar, tea/coffee facilities and private veranda with a hammock.

For extra comfort, your room includes bath robes, mosquito repellent, an umbrella, hairdryer and a torch. Your suite is also equipped with its own safe and telephone.

The main lodge area offers a choice of places to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the Afrinca bush. There is a thatched viewing deck overlooking the waterhole and an open plan lounge area plus bar offers the perfect place to enjoy a sundowner. Otherwise relax by the swimming pool.

The spacious dining room boasts lovely views of the bushveld, alternatively you can enjoy outdoor dining in the boma. Indulge in fine wines, delicious food under the African skies.

The library offers a selection of fictional and non-fictional books and for those needing to stay in touch there is a desktop with wireless internet. There is also a television for those who need to stay up-to-date with the news and sports.

The Timbivati Game reserve traverses a 20 000 hectare area with dropped fences between Kruger so that animals roam freely and offers a wide biodiversity. Home to the big five (lion, rhino, elephant, leopard and buffalo) as well as antelope, zebra, wild dog and a variety of other smaller mammals, reptiles and bird life. The uniqueness of the Timbivati is a unique opportunity to see the rare White Lions.

Kings Camp offers a great big five safari experience. There are daily flights from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport from where you can hire a car or take a road transfer. Alternatively you can take a direct flight into the reserve offered by Federal Air - slightly more expensive but worth the extra money from a time saving point of view.
