Game Drive: Rendezvous by 08h45, followed by a buffet breakfast, 2-3 hour game drive and lunch in the boma or outside.

Horse Trail: Instead of a game drive you will view the game on horse-back - which does offer a unique opportinity for those seeking a little adventure. Meals and format of the safari is the same as the game drive. Alternatively you can book a full day combo trip, doing a morning game drive and an afternoon horse-back safari.

Quad-biking: Quad-bike trips are also possible, giving a slightly different dimension to game viewing - the trip is the same format as the game drive - except you leave with your ranger on a quad-bike.

All safari activities are accompanied by an experienced ranger who will share their knowledge of the animals with you. You will also visit a Bushman rock art site and enjoy some snacks and refreshments during the drive. Day safari visitors can also make use of the swimming pool - so bring your costumes!

Aquila Safari also offers guests the opportunity to overnight - with a choice of premier and luxury chalets. An overnight experience would include all meals plus game activities.

Aquila Safari is suitable for all families and there are no age restrictions for young children.
