There are 10 thatched/reed en suite chalets with twin beds and a shower and an outside veranda to relax during the day.

The accommodation is rustic but clean and comfortable with most of the focus being on the activities and spending time at the beach.

The main lodge area is under a shady tree with sitting area, bar and outside fire place to relax in the evenings.

Located just outside the entrance to Kosi Bay Coastal National Park, a quick 10 minute drive in 4x4's will get you to the unspoilt beaches and Kosi River mouth. Visit the ancient fish traps owned by the community or take a kayak trip on Kosi Lake.

Snorkelling at the mouth also rewards with sightings of tropical fishes. Swim in the warm ocean or take a stroll on the beach.

Kosi Bay is an unspoilt destination and gives you a real feel of getting away from everything! With limited communications, beautiful beaches, and rustic accommodation Amangwane Camp offers a great choice for couples and families really wanting to experience a little of the unspoilt Africa.

The owners are knowledgeable of the area and will give you the best advice on how best to use your time exploring this bush region. A great combination for 'Bush & Beach' is to combine a few nights in the sister lodge, Umkhumbi Lodge for a few nights.

Amangwane Camp is easily included as a stop over from Swaziland to the greater parts of Natal or as a destination on its own. We would recommend a minimum of 3 nights stay to really be able to appreciate the area.
