There are 6 river suites offering en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, separate lounge with a sleeper couch and mini bar with tea/coffee facilities. All rooms have private viewing decks overlooking the Mkuze River. The 2 honeymoon suites also boast private plunge pools in addition to all the above facilities in their rooms. Those looking for extra privacy can stay at the private villa that sleeps 4 adults with spacious lounge, center fireplace and both bedrooms have en suite facilities. Cool off in the splash pool or indulge in the beautiful views from the private deck.

The main lodge areas offer a dining area, bar, comfortable lounge and library giving you a choice of places to relax. Soak up the sun by the pool after a morning's game drive.

The reserve is home to the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) as well as cheetah, variety of antelope and over 420 species of birds. The terrain is diverse, covering a blend of savannah, wetlands and mountainous areas.

The Zulu heritage is rich in this area and you will have the opportunity to learn more of their culture, stories and traditional dances.

During certain times of the year your ranger will take you out in the evenings for a "frogging safari" to see the lovely colours and the mating calls of these fascinating creatures.

The lodge offers a full board stay which includes all your meals, 2 x daily game drives and optional walking safari. Suitable for couples, honeymooners and also families.
