Lion Sands 1933 has been built to offer families and friends their very own private bush home. Aptly named '1933' which is the year that the current family took ownership of the reserve, you are invited to relax and enjoy an exclusive safari experience with the added luxuries of your own private chef and exclusive use of a 4x4 Landrover with an experienced ranger and his tracker.

Lion Sands 1933 is ideal for couples and families with children of all ages, however as the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is a big five reserve, children under 3 years are not allowed to take part in game activities for safety reasons.

Guests staying at anyone one of the Lion Sands Reserve properties can spoil themselves to a unique outdoor 'sleep out' under the African stars in the Chalkley Treehouse. This is a secure and safe bush bedroom with all the comforts and luxuries possible from a mosquito net, mattress, linen, bedside table, toilet and bush vanity table. Built around an ancient Leadwood tree with beautiful views across the reserve. This experience is possible for a couple or single person only and would need to be pre-booked.
