This is a spectacular resort in a stunning location. Built in the traditional gingerbread style on the Atlantic coast, there is usually a good breeze to keep you cool and in the mood for some activity. There are 178 deluxe ocean front king and double double rooms plus 22 one and two bedroom suites with private jacuzzis. All rooms have breathtaking panoramic views from large private balconies and terraces.

The resort is set in a 750 acre estate and this affords ample opportunities to get out and about. The hotel offers complimentary bikes and you may cycle along the paths of the golf course as well as along the 2.5 mile beach (yes the sand is hard enough when the tide is out!). You may also explore the mangrove swamps, play tennis, play golf, indulge in some birdwatching or try to spot a Caiman in one of the lakes! Nearby you may try out a variety of water sports (there is a complimentary shuttle to Pigeon point), go horseriding, go on one of the many tours that the hotel offers, hike in the rainforest, take a trip on the Catamaran Island Girl or just chill out and visit the spa!

As with a hotel this size there are a number of dining options. For breakfast there is a huge and wonderful buffet.The Pembois Restaurant is the main restaurant with all day dining. The Kali'na Restaurant serves Caribbean Fusion. The Salaka Grill is the Ocean front and pool side restaurant.There is also the Benn? Cafe where you can get a great proper latte and a nice pastry! When it comes to the bars there is the same great variety! The Li'l Nylon Pool Bar is Swim-up Pool Bar with seats in the water if you want. The Robinson Crusoe Bar is relaxed with a TV showing sport and the Tavaco Piano Lounge is slightly more formal.
