Just a short walk from the beach in the picturesque fishing village of Parlatuvier, this area is considered one of the loveliest on the island. Here guests are looked after by the Canadian owners who live next door and run a small guest house with 3 bedrooms. They are wonderful hosts who know the area well and will even cook you dinner in their Tobago home for a small charge with advance notice. Guests can enjoy the amazing hospitality, fabulous views, daily migrations of frigate birds as they cruise along the coast, listen to the cries of the cocricos, the chatter of the parrots, and the songs of other island birds. This perfect cottage, ideal for families with grown up children is bounded by a river on one side and the sea on the other. Guests have the use of an infinity edge pool overlooking the sea, gardens that include mature coconut palms, mango and other fruit trees, and lots of banana plants. Paths lead along the hillside past the fruit trees, down to Creighton River and the property's own water fall and swimming hole. The Main Ridge Forest trail is just 10 minutes away.

Bea's cottage is built on two levels. On the main level of there is a bed room with a double bed and a full bath, with plenty of closet space to store and hang your clothing. The kitchen is equipped with full size appliances, including a microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. In the sitting area there is a large bookcase with nearly 100 books to chose from. The best spot to socialize is the porch overlooking the sea that has 4 very comfortable chairs, a table, and a bird feeder that has attracted over 32 species of birds. The cottage is perched on top of the hillside and the shutters along the entire west side open onto a spectacular view of tree tops with the Caribbean sea in the background. Downstairs is the second bedroom with twin beds and its own bath, dressing area, closet and bureau and space to add an extra bed. The path from the lower level leads directly to the pool, then continues down the hillside to the river waterfall, pool and eventually to the sea.

There is an ample supply of hot water for both bath rooms in the cottage. The shower stalls are custom designed and roomy. Top quality towels and bath mats are used in each. We also provide separate towels for the pool or beach. Hair dryers are available.

To insure maximum comfort, both bedrooms have fitted mosquito nets as well as ceiling and standing fans. There are tables with reading lamps by each side of the double bed upstairs and by each of the twin beds downstairs. Quality bed sheets and feather pillows are used in both bed rooms.
