Situated atop a natural peninsula, the 5 star Cliff Bay, provides incredible sea views over the Bay of Funchal, luxurious facilities and direct private sea access. Whether you are looking to be active or relax, Cliff Bay is the perfect place to stay.

Spread across particularly pretty, flower-filled tiered gardens with a direct access jetty to the ocean. The 200 room hotel has wide-ranging facilities and includea three swimming pools, indoor and outdoor; games room with snooker, a tennis court, a solarium, an outdoor whirlpool tub, Turkish bath, sauna, gym and a hairdresser.

All guest rooms have twin queen-size beds, an en suite marble bathroom and an LCD cable TV with DVD/CD player. In addition, all rooms feature a veranda with table and chairs, giving views of the hotel's gardens or the Bay of Funchal.

Cliff Bay features 3 restaurants, including the 2-Michelin star Il Gallo d'Oro, which serves aromatic Mediterranean and Iberian cuisine. Guests can also relax in any of the on-site cafés and bars.
