Diving
At the apex of the Coral Triangle, the Philippines is home to some of the most diverse marine life on Earth. Diving is incredible year-round with different areas ideal for macro life, wrecks, and big pelagic life. Ask us for suggestions!
Kayaking
Kayak through the lagoons of El Nido or mangroves of Bohol. If you'd rather be upright, hop on a stand-up paddleboard along the Abatan River or at any number of resorts throughout the country.
Surfing
Given the miles of coastline, a few great surf spots are inevitable in the Philippines. For advanced surfers, Siargao, ranked one of the top 10 surf sites in the world, is a must-visit destination. It's at its best October-April. Beginners can try their hand in Zambales where April-September sees the most consistent swell.
Island Hopping
From Panglao, Puerto Princesa, El Nido, Coron, Boracay, and Dumaguete, a day of island hopping is a highlight. See uninhabited islands with pristine beaches, snorkel and swim in clear water, and tuck into a freshly cooked lunch of grilled fish and other local fare.
Volcano Trekking
Head up Taal, south of Manila, on foot or horseback or hike up Pinatubo to the north. For those wanting a longer trek, the symmetrical Mount Mayon near Legazpi requires more than one day to summit and descend.
Paraw Sailing
Sail around the island of Boracay on a traditional Paraw, a double outrigger sail boat. It only takes a few hours, making for a lovely sunset cruise.
