Day 1 - Arrival

This afternoon your overnight flight arrives in Manila, an energetic city with a historic heart. Your private driver will greet you at Nino Aquino Manila International Airport and transport you to your comfortable accommodation. We’ve not planned anything for this afternoon to allow you to recover from your flight, so relax or head out for a wander.

Day 2 - Explore historic Intramuros by bicycle

Today you will tour the walled city of Intramuros on bamboo bicycles. Your guide will explain the history of the walled city as you cycle leisurely along on a hand-made bicycle. See the UNESCO-designated Saint Augustin Church, Fort Santiago, and other historic buildings. Exploring by bicycle allows you to see more of this historical area and absorb the sights and sounds of what was once the heart of Manila. The tour including time to reach Intramuros and return to your hotel takes approximately 4 hours. You may wish to have lunch in the old city, and the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 3 - Beach time in Bohol

After breakfast your driver will collect you and take you to the airport for a flight to Bohol. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your seaside resort to check in to a one-bedroom suite large enough for a family of four.

Days 4-5 - Wildlife Spotting

On two of your days in Bohol, we’ve arranged for full and half-day tours. One morning, head out on the water to look for dolphins and whale sharks on the way to Pamilacan and Balicasag islands where you can snorkel and swim with sea turtles. Another day, your private driver and guide will take you inland to see the Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary, and Butterfly Center before you join a lunch cruise on the Loboc River. Afterward, you’ll visit fishermen and go for a leisurely kayak on the Abatan River.

Days 6-8 - Rest and Relaxation

Your other three days in Panglao are unplanned so the kids can join in the hotel’s afternoon activities, splash in the pool, play on the beach or on the playground, and partake of treats like popsicles on hot days. Mountain bikes and paddle boards can be used by all and there’s ample space to run or cycle on the resort’s property. Adults can visit the spa, arrange for diving and relax pool or oceanside. Consider adding an evening of kayaking through mangroves to look for fireflies.
