One of the newest boutique resorts in the Philippines, Donatela Hotel is unlike any other property in the country. Villas are spread amongst lush grounds, each one a secluded hideout surrounded by vibrant gardens. Perched atop a seaside cliff, it's also home to Paprika, a fine-dining experience.

Garden Villas are inspired by traditional Ifugao Tribal House concepts to blend into the natural surroundings and lend a touch of snugness to the airy rooms for a homey feel. Three pool villas are hidden within tropical gardens laden with water features and endemic plants. Each has a unique canopy rooftop, garden and pool with ample space to lounge in ultimate privacy. There's even a daybed on the very private balcony. For these seeking even more seclusion, the Honeymoon Villa beckons. This massive villa has a full living room complete with bookshelves lined with sculptures and other objets d'art and designer furnishings for the ultimate in style and comfort. The poolside terrace is large enough for an L-shaped sofa for two in addition to a small dining area. The grounds are home to a swimming pool, poolside café, walking paths, an animal rehabilitation center, spa with five private treatment bungalows, fitness centre, and a dive centre. Equestria, located inside the resort, stables 15 horses of different breeds and sizes. There's an Olympic sized dressage arena and covered round arena for all weather riding. Lessons and riding courses are available. Walking paths lead down to the water with relaxation areas carved out and sun loungers for those who wish to look out over the ocean.
