The lodge offers 3 different kinds of accommodations: Superior, Comfort and Suite. All rooms offer electricity 3 times per day; as well as private bathrooms with showers and beds with mosquito nets.
Superior lodges are 42 m2 and have 2 or 3 twin beds, 2 bed lodges have a hammock. Comfort lodges are the same size and offer 2 double beds and in-room WiFi. Suite lodges are the largest of the property (52m2) and feature in addition, ceiling fans and an outdoor area with lounge and minibar.

After a day of jungle discovery, you'll be ready to enjoy the relaxing services offered at Refugio Amazonas. A lounge in an inviting hammock in the common area or get a massage with jungle ingredients. There’s also a lodge boutique filled with artisanal crafts, and a lobby bar featuring rainforest-inspired cocktails alongside classics.

This collection of Citizen Science projects studies everything from mammal populations to the jungle canopy to stunning Tiger Moths, so you can participate in discovering new species and exploring rainforest life!

To get to Refugio Amazonas, take a plane from Lima or Cusco to Puerto Maldonado. Then, take an hour road trip with the Lodge’s shuttle, followed by a tranquil three hours boating on the Tambopata River, to arrive at Refugio Amazonas lodge.
