Posada Amazonas is a 30 bedroom lodge owned by the Native Community of Infierno and managed by Rainforest Expeditions. Thanks to its accessibility, the lodge offers excellent wildlife observation opportunities, cultural context, and comfortable accommodations. It is located within the territory of the Infierno Community, and getting there is part of the adventure! Arriving to Puerto Maldonado airport, take a one hour road trip, followed by a tranquil hour boating on the Tambopata River, to arrive at this jungle oasis!

There are 3 different kinds of rooms in the property: Superior, Comfort and Suite. Each room here features a mosquito net, a private bathroom, hammocks and have electricity between 12:00 and 13:00 and between 17:00 and 21:00. A daily breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the rate.
Superior and Comfort rooms are 42 m2, the Superior rooms offer 2 or 3 single twin beds and the Comfort 2 double size beds. The Suite is 52 m2, has a king size bed and an indoor sitting area with free minibar.

While there's plenty of adventure as you explore the jungle, there’s also plenty in store for your downtime. Relaxation is covered with locally-made hammocks in the lounge or the Amazonian massage services. There’s also an exclusive boutique filled with artisan goods, and the Ronsoco Bar, featuring rainforest-inspired cocktails alongside classics like the Pisco Sour. An interesting array of activities are also offered such as visiting and working alongside the Ese Eja community.
