Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel is an intimate Andean village with terraced hills, waterfalls, stone pathways and 83 whitewashed adobe “casitas” rooms. The property has 12 acres of exquisite natural beauty, where 214 bird species and the world’s largest native orchid collection has been registered. And all this natural wonder is enjoyed in great comfort with open fires in some of the rooms and the communal areas.

There are 7 categories of rooms available: Superior, Superior Deluxe, Junior Suite, Junior Suite Deluxe, Suite, Suite Inkaterra and Villa Inkaterra. All rooms are spacious and feature tiled floors and seating areas, decorated with Andean tapestries. The rooms at Inkaterra boast beds with cotton sheets, alpaca blankets and canopies with the choice of King-sized bed or Twin beds.
The Superior room is 30m2 and includes a small dining area and minibar, the Superior Deluxe is larger (39m2) and includes a dining area in front of a fireplace and cable TV, the Junior Suite is larger than the previous (40m2) in a spacious setting that offers a separate area for reading and relaxing, a fireplace, plus the possibility of a terrace and a large private bathroom with a telephone, minibar, cable TV and sound system and the last room of the bottom tier is the Junior Suite Deluxe that offers a larger space (42m2) with a lavish bathroom that includes a marble basin and telephone, separate sitting area, dining for two, and work area in front of a fireplace, as well as cable TV, sound system and a complimentary bottle of pisco!

On the top tier of rooms, Inkaterra offers the ‘Experience the VIP treatment’, which translates into personalized attention, added amenities, turndown service three times a day, free satellite internet access, Plasma TV and the rest as offered in the other rooms.
The Suite is a spacious 117m2 that includes an outdoor shower, heated plunge pool and a daybed, as well as a luxuriant marble bathroom with two basins, independent shower and toilet and of course, a sitting area with open fire. The Suite Inkaterra is 176m2 and is a private paradise with a personal garden and covered terrace, plus heated plunge pool, extra-large daybed, and outdoor shower, it includes an expansive sleeping area and a second room that features a gracious area for working or relaxing, as well as dining for four in front of an open fireplace, and a luxurious marble bathroom with two basins and a secluded garden view tub.
Finally, Villa Inkaterra is the largest accommodation in the property with 293m2 and designed for travellers looking for travelers seeking a truly authentic encounter. It includes all the facilities described in the Suites as it consists of one Inkaterra Suite adjoining one Suite, overlooking a lush garden with private entrance. The Villa includes round-the-clock butler service.

As for dining, buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner are included in the rates (with reservation upon arrival); you can enjoy all-day dining in the restaurant and adjacent terraces built as a large glass house with an exceptional view of the Vilcanota River and the surrounding green mountains or you can indulge in Inkaterra Cafe with a blend of Andean cuisine and architecture with a contemporary approach, creating an innovative fusion-style fare. Café Inkaterra is situated under a traditional Amazonian Ese’Eja palm-thatched roof, and is decorated with regional crafts.
