El Refugio is a rustic style hotel with breathtaking views of the river and the mountains, an outdoor pool fed by a natural spring of thermal water nestled in a majestic landscape. A privileged location for fishing, contemplating the surrounding natural waterfalls or visiting the picturesque village of Chivay. The rooms are large, very clean, quiet and atmospheric, so total relaxation is served.

El Refugio has 33 rooms, and 6 different kinds of accommodation: Single, Matrimonial, Double, Triple, Family Suite and Matrimonial Suite. All feature a rustic style with simple decoration with views of the valley and the river, a small terrace and bathtubs.
Single, matrimonial or double rooms have two double beds to provide more comfort to our clients. Triples rooms have two double beds and one single bed.
The Family Suite is divided into two floors, the first floor has a small living room, a sleeping area with a king bed and a bathroom with Jacuzzi; the second floor has two single beds and a relaxing terrace. The Matrimonial Suite has a king bed and a bathroom with Jacuzzi.

In a beautiful setting overlooking the valley with a small central fireplace, the hotel’s restaurant offers Andean specialties. A bar with an extensive menu of innovative cocktails is also available.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes away from Chivay village.
