This smart, contemporary and cozy hotel boasts a lively and friendly atmosphere with lofty ceilings and panoramic windows. Amazonian vines, eucalyptus beams and charcoal painted halls blend the interior with its green and humid exteriors, giving a sense of the ‘great outdoors’ throughout. The vivid bird of paradise flowers outside add a spruce of colour to the minimalistic style of the hotel.

There are 122 standard double rooms that have white washed walls, pine doors and mostly turquoise furnishings. All feature large quotes from English, Spanish and French philosophers on the wall above the beds. Every room in the hotel has a window looking out into gardens and the bathrooms are simple, with white tiles and granite floors. There are no bathtubs, only showers.

All reservations are half board as standard and breakfast, lunch and dinner come in buffet form. Breakfast is continetal (cold meats, fruit, fresh juices, breads) but there is also a chef on hand that cooks eggs to order. Lunch and dinner buffets have a wide selection of soups, salads, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes to choose from as well as a pasta station.  

The hotel’s location is as central as it gets in Aguas Calientes. There are dozens of bars and restaurants on the hotel's doorstep to suit all budgets and the train station is less than a five minute walk away. Buses to Machu Picchu also depart from just around the corner.
