Sossusvlei Lodge is situated at the entrance to the Namib Naukluft Park, offering guests direct access to a variety of natural wonders. Guests can choose between the lodge’s 2-sleeper Superior Units, 4-sleeper Family Units, or the Junior Suite with queen-sized bed. The Superior and Family Units both feature a patio with magnificent views over the desert, a corner couch, refreshment area, fridge and in-room safe as well as a complimentary turn-down service. The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with a large shower, toilet, as well as twin vanity basins. The Superior Units come with the addition of a corner bathtub. Two of the superior units are wheelchair and handicap friendly. The Junior Suite features an additional living area and private deck with a splash pool and comfortable seating. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and freestanding bathtub underneath a skylight.

The main building at the lodge consists of Sossusvlei Lodge’s restaurant, bar, beer garden and sundowner deck, decorated in true African style with Bushman art along the walls. The al-fresco terrace overlooks a floodlit waterhole which attracts a variety of birdlife, as well as small wildlife, and this is where meals are usually served. The gardens at Sossusvlei Lodge are well-kept and boast a large swimming pool, surrounded by pool loungers and umbrellas for ultimate relaxation whilst taking in the magnificent desert views.

The Adventure Centre at Sossusvlei Lodge offers a range of exciting activities. From guided trips to the nearby natural wonders such as the Deadvlei, Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon as well as Elim dune walks, to sundowner trips on the lodge’s private reserve, archery lessons, quad buggy nature drives, hot air balloon rides and scenic helicopter and light aircraft flights. Guests can also book a bush dinner or breakfast in the Sossusvlei.
