Canyon Village houses 42 Cape-Dutch cottages. All rooms are spacious and come with air conditioners and complimentary tea and coffee to ensure maximum comfort. Visitors can choose between the standard twin rooms, twin rooms for persons with restricted mobility, or the triple rooms – all of which are en-suite (showers only).

The centre of the lodge consists of a buzzing coffee house, where tea, coffee, biscuits and cake are served throughout the day and into the evening. The main restaurant has a rather unique design, with one of the walls built around the natural boulders on site and consists of a number of private dining tables and a team of friendly hosts. Leading off from the restaurant is a bar area, as well as a well-stocked curio shop. Outside, guests will find a large shaded area with long tables and benches as well as a barbeque area, while the swimming pool is set a little way away, with a nearby honesty bar which guests can help themselves from.

Guests staying at Canyon Village can embark on a number of activities in the area, all of which can be organised by the lodge itself. These include a sunrise walk or morning hike or a sundowner drive or walk around the area, or for those feeling a bit more adventurous, a horseback ride through the area. Guests are also encouraged to go on a drive to the Fish River Canyon, where they can take the time to explore the area. Alternatively, you can choose to spend your days lounging by the pool and taking in the beautiful surroundings.
