Guests can choose between standard twin rooms, standard triple rooms, wheelchair-friendly twin rooms, or a family room with interleading doors. All the rooms look out onto a central courtyard and come with air conditioners as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms are spacious, cool, light and comfortable and furnished with 2-3 beds, a small table and chair as well as an armchair. All rooms are en-suite (with showers).

The reception area is filled with a large truck serving as the reception desk and a filling station bar. Inside you will find an array of old classic cars and other transport paraphernalia amidst a number of restaurant tables and cosy fireplaces made of old cabs. For the warmer days, guests can sit outside whilst taking in the scenery, or head off to the pool and relax on a sun lounger whilst enjoying the view. The lodge also houses its own vegetable and herb garden which is used to supply the kitchen, with a strong emphasis on eco-friendly water usage.

Activities in the area include a sunrise walk or morning hike or a sundowner drive or walk around the area. Guests are also encouraged to explore the surrounding area – including the great Fish River Canyon - in their own vehicles. Alternatively, you can choose to spend your days lounging by the pool and taking in the beautiful surroundings.
