A sweet little property, set on the edge of a small lake, off a small and quiet side street on the outskirts of Loikaw. It is by far the best hotel in the area, a lovely family run place full of charm and character. Rooms are large, nicely decorated. All the rooms face over a little courtyard and over the small lake, offers beautiful morning views watching life on the water.

Loikaw Lodge has twelve beautifully crafted rooms that provide space, light and great comfort. Teak-panelled floors and wooden furniture, all designed in-house and made locally. The rooms have no TV but shelves full of books instead. Modern bathrooms with en suite showers and toilets match international upscale hotel standards. All rooms have air conditioning and wifi access.
There are 3 different kinds of accommodations: Superior, Deluxe and Suite. The Superior rooms are 24 m2, have twin or double beds and include private balconies. The Deluxe rooms are 37 m2, have a balcony or terrace, a double bed, a writing desk and a two-seater rattan sofa. The rooms can accommodate an extra-bed. The Suites are the largest with 62 m2, have a double and a single bed, and can easily accommodate an extra bed for added occupants; a 3-seater rattan sofa and large private balcony.

They go to the market almost every day to buy fruits and vegetables of the season to prepare deliciously fresh food and dishes, there is not a fixed menu and rather decide on the morning of what to cook for lunch and dinner, depending on fresh ingredients available.
Loika Lodge Cafe serves home-made Lemonade, passion fruit soda and probably the best Cappuccino, Latte, Flat White and Espresso in town.

The Hotel also has a comprehensive responsibility philosophy with local communities, which the owners are happy to explain to interested visitors.
