Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Fly to Vilanculos

Landing in Johannesburg in the early morning, you will take a connection flight to Vilanculos, the gate way to the Indian Ocean paradise of the Bazaruto Archipelago. From here you will take a boat transfer across to the island where you will be spending the next 6 nights at the Anantara Bazaruto Resort.

day 2 - 6 - Bazaruto Archipelago Island

Spend the days indulging in pure island decadence – snorkel the coral reefs being surrounded by exotic fishes, laze the days on the beach or end your hazy sunny days with a dhow trip and sundowner. Stroll sandy beaches and soak up the warm African sun whilst enjoying fresh harvested seafood and barefoot luxury.

day 7 - return home

Take a last stroll along the beach feeling the sand between your toes before its time to pack your bags for the journey home, relaxed and sun kissed after a decadent week on this exotic island.

Easily added onto a safari in the Kruger, we do recommend to do the island beach escape holiday after a few nights in a big five reserve allowing time to relaxation after a busy safari.
