Sometimes only the best is good enough and Marrakech has long had the reputation for providing the ultimate in style and luxury. The starting point is the architecture with elegant arches and beautiful courtyards. Add in the traditions such as the luxurious hammams coupled with European spa technology. The finishing touch is the people who take a genuine pride in providing great service, not just out of professionalism but because of a deep seated patriotism and wanting to show off their country to the best.
Day 1 - Arrive In Marraekch
Arrive at Marrakech airport where your driver will meet you and take you straight to your hotel. Within 15 minutes you can be at the door of your riad and at the top end of the market there are great choices: La Sultana for opulence, Riad Farnatchi for grandeur and tranquility, Villa des Orangers for its flowing spaces but for style and cocooning we’d go for Riad Nashira. Luxury riad with an amazing spa.More Info
Days 2 & 3 - Exploring Marrakech
The challenge over the next few days is to get you out of the riad. The spa will suck you in and why eat anywhere other than the acclaimed inhouse restaurant? Well you only have 2 full days and on one of them we’d suggest getting the chef to take you into the food souks and then doing a Moroccan cuisine demo, and on the other maybe book a table at Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot high in the Atlas mountains. Of course you have to do a tour of the souks but for serious shopping arrange a trip to the top end boutiques and factory shops in the industrial quarter for the best quality products.
