Atlas Kasbah offers exceptional spaciousness, natural surroundings and peace and quiet in the unique setting of a majestic fortress.

The uniqueness of Atlas Kasbah lies in fact that the services integrate sustainability, innovation, and respect for the environment and the appreciation for the local Berber culture. Consequently, the Kasbah places an emphasis on eco tourism.
In order to achieve these objectives, Atlas Kasbah have worked with six fundamental criteria including: water, energy, waste, purchasing, the integration with the scenery and environmental education.

There are nine rooms and three suites, all of which are bright and spacious, and decorated in a traditional and comfortable style, that combines Berber and European influences.
The carved wood, the Tadelakt and the floors are joined in harmony to highlight the simplicity of the Berber lifestyle.

The restaurant's terrace, overlooking the surrounding hills, is also an incentive to 'escape', thanks to the magic alchemy between this gastronomic adventure of a thousand flavours and the sights, which are a true feast for the eyes. In fact, the view encompasses the High Atlas Mountains which is a sharp contrast to the adjacent plains. Add to this scenery the captivating colours of the Kasbah walls and you have an unmatched atmosphere in an absolutely timeless place.
The menu at Atlas Kasbah has been carefully chosen and offers a high class, fine and creative cuisine, where the chefs can demonstrate all of their skills.
The gourmet dishes are frequently inspired by international cuisines, but always with a subtle accent of Moroccan flavours. The local dishes and specialities are prepared in their original manner.
Similarly, the vegetables and fruit of the organic garden combine freshness and flavour.

Owners of Atlas Kasbah:

Hassan Aboutayeb is the manager and owner of the Kasbah. He is also a well known consultant on sustainable tourism development and has been active in the promotion of a more environmentally responsible tourism in Morocco. Hassan wanted to put his professional knowledge into practice and consequently Atlas Kasbah was born, the first ecolodge in Agadir, Morocco.

Hassan's wife, Hane, has a Master's in Sustainable Development from the University of Maine and has been instrumental in the implementation of this innovative ecotourism project in Morocco. The project focuses on respect for the environment, appreciation and use of traditional architecture techniques and above all, the strengthening of the local Berber communities.

At Atlas Kasbah, respect for the natural environment, as well as for the social and cultural environment is cultivated.
