Recent renovations have brought brighter rooms and a more contemporary design while maintaining big open spaces, a rarity in Singapore. Superior rooms can comfortably sleep two adults and one child and many have a bathtub. Many of the slightly larger Deluxe rooms have a private balcony facing Orchard Road or the lush greenery of the garden. By Singapore standards, the Family rooms are enormous at 50 square metres and have both a king-sized bed and a single plus space for an extra bed. These rooms have a bathtub. Some Family rooms have a set of bunkbeds in place of the single bed. Family rooms with a sofa bed are a bit smaller yet quite comfortable for a family of three. Even bigger than Family rooms, Family Suites have one king-sized bed, two single beds and in some cases, a balcony. One-bedroom suites have the added benefit of a kitchenette. A number of room types are available with Club access for those who prefer to have breakfast in a smaller space and cocktail hour later in the day. Club access is not permitted for children under the age of 18.
The hotel has a lobby bar as well as a variety of in-house restaurants serving a varied menu throughout the day.
Orchard Rendezvous Hotel is located approximately 30-minutes drive from Changi international airport. A wide variety of dining and shopping venues are within easy walking distance of the hotel. City buses stop just outside the hotel making it easy to access the MRT and many of Singapore's main sights.
When Christmas decorations go up in November and December, rooms facing Orchard Road have prime views of the displays.
