Once a 1920s Peranakan shophouse with a carriage laneway that housed trishaws, hand carts, and servants quarters, Noordin Mews offers updated accommodation in a classic Penang setting.

Shop House suites, located in the main building, boast hard wood floors and four poster beds. One has two king sized beds and a sitting are. The other offers two connecting bedrooms with a total of three beds: two king and one single; two bathrooms, a sitting area, and a private balcony looking toward the swimming pool. Mews rooms have a more contemporary feel with bright white linens and retro Shanghai inspired accents. Each room has a king bed and a day bed.

The café serves a small menu of snacks and drinks throughout the afternoon and early evening. A library and open air lounge with garden views provide a shaded spot for guests to relax outdoors. Bicycle rental, trishaw rides, and in-room massage can all be arranged.

The hotel is located in one of George Town's quieter areas, approximately 40 minutes drive from Penang International Airport. A number of restaurants and street food centres are located within walking distance and one end of Harmony Street is about a ten-minute walk from the hotel.

Please note that some rooms are located on the first floor and there is no lift.
