Next to the Sepilok Protected Forest Reserve, this small resort offers spacious semi-detached chalets and a boardwalk with multiple viewing decks to look for birds and other wildlife.
The resort is comprised of twelve units, each with two guestrooms. The wood rooms are quite spacious with seating areas and desks. Most rooms have large balconies looking directly into the jungle. Family rooms do not have a balcony as the space was allocated for a second bedroom with two single beds. A few units have partially divided living spaces and are ideal for those wishing to indulge in a bit more privacy and space. Air conditioning and ceiling fans allow for complete control of room temperature.
A boardwalk leads into the rainforest and guests are free to explore the trail without a guide. An early morning walk can be a true delight for birdwatchers and monkeys are often spotted in the late afternoon. Every evening, staff assist with spotting flying squirrels in the trees and serve a light snack on the Flying Squirrel Platform.
Shuttle service is provided to and from the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre around the times of the daily feedings. All meals are included during a stay at MY Nature Resort. WiFi is only available in the restaurant and reception area. Sustainable practices such as the use of solar panels to heat water are in place throughout the property.
