Set back from the bustle of Love Lane amidst a garden, 23 LoveLane offers spacious guest rooms and a cosy atmosphere. Once a private residence, the hotel is filled with antiques, vintage furniture, and a collection of contemporary art. The building's original architecture has been well preserved and the atmosphere of a home carries throughout.

Anglo-Indian Bungalow rooms offer a king or two single beds, each restored to its stylish grandeur. Rooms in the Straits Eclectic Annexe are designed with a more Straits Chinese esthetic, and all have one king bed. The two rooms of the 1920s Jack Roof Annexe boast a more contemporary design and one king bed each. For families, the Indian Shop House offers a two-story stand-alone unit with two en suite bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other two singles. A large verandah faces the central courtyard.

A short walk from the main building are the Muntri and Stewart Suites. Muntri Suites is a three-bedroom suite with a large living room, dining area, and kitchenette. The Stewart Suite is a one-bedroom duplex with a king and one single bed, a kitchenette, living and dining areas, and a jacuzzi tub.

A library sits on the first floor and the lobby feels like a living room with open air seating and garden access. SteakFrites@23 serves the dish the restaurant is named for at lunch and dinner with a selection of wine. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and a la carte and afternoon tea is available. A cosy bar in the hotel's lobby is open for drinks.

23 LoveLane is located within George Town's historic zone walking distance to countless restaurants, shops, and sights. It is approximately 40 minutes drive from Penang International Airport.
