Picture your very own luxury yacht sailing serenely across the azure waters of the Ionian on your week’s holiday.
The only thing that would make it better?
If it were two weeks.
Discover the art of slow living on a two-week sail through the islands of the Ionian Sea. Visit a new location every day (if you must!) but do it slowly, peacefully, without the need for moving accommodation, packing your bags or lifting a finger!
Start in Corfu and slowly meander down through Poseidon’s playground visiting Paxos, Anti-Paxos and Greek Mainland. Fill your days with long lunches, gentle sailing and sundowners as you head South. Zig-zag between Meganissi, Kalamos and Kastos before finishing your fortnight in Kefalonia.
Perhaps you find your favourite spot and you stay there for three days…perhaps the wind is so gentle you literally find yourself going backwards…anything is possible, and we think slow is pro!
Board your yacht in Gouvia Marina and after a short sail spend the night under the old fortress of Mandraki in Corfu Town.
There’s no need to eat up the miles instead embrace your starting point with cocktails on the waterfront and meze in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Wake up to your first full day onboard.
Again instead of rushing take a gentle stroll through the gardens and arches of Old Town perhaps stopping for an Espresso as you watch the world go by.
Head back to your yacht and set off for a gentle sail to the quiet village of Petriti – a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of the morning.
Enjoy dinner onboard or at a traditional taverna on the shore.
Leave one quiet fishing village and head for another, as you cross over to Greek Mainland.
Spend the afternoon enjoying watersports, a cocktail at the beach bar, a good book on the bow, or all three…we won’t stop you!
Plateria is also one of the best places to watch the sunset over Corfu…you’re welcome!
Spend the next two days slowly tootling around the beautiful islands of Paxos and Anti-Paxos.
Or if you find somewhere you love, why not stay for two days?
Sample delicious olive oil, spot starfish on the shoreline and embrace the slow pace of Poseidon’s Playground.
Day 6 is a bit of a longer sailing day.
Although that means a bit of an early start, it means a full day of relaxation and sailing.
Finish that chapter, absorb the Vitamin Sea, wildlife spot and if you like why not helm the yacht with the help from your Captain.
End your day on the beautiful island of Meganissi in the heart of the South Ionian.
After the long day on the water, today is a day to not move from your spot on the Town Quay…
…unless you fancy popping round the corner to an equally beautiful bay.
Enjoy all that Meganissi has to offer including delightful walks, blue waters, fresh fish and even snorkelling a plane wreck.
Fiskardo on a normal day is beautiful but busy.
Fiskardo on a Saturday is beautiful and tranquil.
The joy of spending two weeks onboard is this magic weekend where most people have had to head back to their starting point and you are just getting going!
Adventure to the caves, shop ’til you drop in the boutiques and dine on the waterfront whilst you yacht and people spot.
One of our must see locations!
After a morning swim and perhaps an iced coffee ashore head to the neighbouring island of Ithaca.
It’s time to take another breather and enjoy two days on the ‘splendid’ isle.
Or if Kefalonia is too good to leave why not adventure ashore and enjoy a trip to a vineyard to sample delicious local Robola.
If you can tear yourself away from impressive Ithaca, set the sails and head towards the quieter islands of Kalamos and Kastos.
These beautiful islands are so different to any visited before and equally different from each other.
Enjoy quiet dinners onboard, lots of stargazing, and the feeling that even the islands are slowing down their pace to match your tranquil holiday.
Today we start heading to the final destination stopping once again on Ithaca but this time on the Southern tip.
Enjoy a day of sailing and watersports.
Have you all had a go on the ringo yet?
For your final full day onboard there is a sail planned that can be as long or as short as you like.
Zig Zag up the channel or enjoy the full day on anchor swimming, sunbathing and making the most of yacht life.
Finish the day in the sleepy town of Ay Eufemia with a gorgeous dinner ashore and nightcap on the bow.
Wake up knowing that your onward travel is planned and the only thing you have to do this morning is eat another wonderful breakfast onboard…
…and fit all of your new purchases into your bag!
Embarkation is 1700 and disembarkation is 0900.
