Sirikoi is a family-owned lodge situated along the Sirikoi stream, with Kenya’s arid North on the one side and the lush foothills of Mt. Kenya on the other. It hosts 4 luxury tented rooms, which include en-suite facilities, an outside deck and an inside fireplace. Guests can also choose from two of Sirikoi’s family units. Sirikoi Cottage consists of two en-suite bedrooms with fireplaces, a central living and dining area with fireplace, small kitchen as well as a spacious deck with views of the waterhole. Sirikoi House consists of three en-suite bedrooms with fireplaces, a central living and dining area with fireplace, as well as an outside deck looking over the wetlands. Sirikoi House also comes with its own private game vehicle and guide, as well as a team of staff including a chef.

Guests can enjoy meals at the main lodge, where there is a view of the waterhole, offering an abundance of game-viewing opportunities. This is also where guests can cool off in the infinity pool after a long day, go for a relaxing massage or browse the gift shop. Sirikoi also boasts an impressive organic fruit and vegetable garden with over 80 different plants, from which it gets much of the produce used to cater for guests, and where the head groundsman is always happy to show visitors around.

Activities at the lodge are abundant and include game viewing, Ngare Ndare Forest walks, exploration by quad-bike, and a variety of helicopter and plane excursions, including a tour of Mt. Kenya. Those who are interested can also visit the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy or the Orphan Elephant Rehabilitation Project, to learn about the area’s conservation efforts, or go on a number of cultural excursions to learn about the daily-lives of the amazing Kenyan tribes. Sirikoi also offers mobile overnight camp excursions, for those wanting to explore a bit off the beaten track.
