Kicheche Mara Camp consists of 8 fully insect-proof double or twin tents, each with en-suite bathrooms. All tents can also be made into triple or family tents on request. Each tents comes with cedar beds with luggage racks and rugs. The en- suite bathrooms come equipped with a shower plus flushing toilet and running water. All tents overlook the Olare Orok stream and the Western escarpment of the valley.

The main communal tent where guests can spend some time on quiet or rainy days has a view down the valley and offers comfortable seating, a library, board games, cards and local crafts. Meals and drinks are usually served al fresco-style beneath the shade of acacia trees, under the starry skies, or as picnic lunches on game drives. Guests can also choose to have their meals served in the main dining tent. There is a fully stock bar with a range of wines and drinks.

A typical day at Kicheche Mara Camp will entail an early start with a beverage before heading off on the morning game drive, and returning late morning for breakfast – or staying out for the afternoon which will include a picnic lunch. Guests usually spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing, having lunch and enjoying the sounds of the bush, or curled up with a book. The afternoon game drive leaves after tea and returns at dusk when guests enjoy a candle lit dinner. Additional activities include guided bush walks, a trip to a local Maasai village, or fly camping, which offers an amazing way to submerge yourself in the bush.
