Giraffe Manor hosts 12 individual rooms, all with a rich and detailed history of their own. Most of the rooms are named after past or present giraffes residing in the sanctuary and each have their own unique décor, adding to the Manor’s charming style. Two of rooms even boast balconies from which guests can feed the giraffes in the early morning, as they come looking for affection and treats! Each room is equipped with its own private bathroom. The rooms and facilities at Giraffe Manor cater for a variety of travellers, from singles and couples to small families.

The Manor hosts a main dining area where guests can enjoy breakfast, with the giraffes sticking their heads through the windows in the hopes of a hand-fed snack. Guests can also enjoy a lunch on the terrace or tea time on the front lawns. Dinner time can be spent in the Orchard House, with the sweet smells of the orchards wafting through the candlelight area, or a candle lit dinner in the wood-panelled dining room.

In addition to the giraffe encounters over breakfast, guests have access to the AFEW Giraffe Centre where they can learn more about the Rothschild giraffes, as well as stretch their legs along a small nature trail. Guests can also adopt a baby elephant from the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphange, or simply visit the orphanage to see the elephants. Parents can enjoy a selection of massage and beauty treatments at the treatment room, while children play croquet and boules in the gardens. The Manor also offers painting in the Orchard House, or guests can chose to play a quiet game of chess next to the fire at night. A stay at the Manor includes transfers to the Karen Blixen and Nairobi National Museum, where guests can learn more about the country’s history.
