Elephant Bedroom Camp is made up of 12 very spacious and comfortable luxury tents. Each tent has a distinctive warm African feel, with a simple furnishing style including either a sofa or comfortable lounging chairs, a coffee table and writing desk, as well as either a king sized, or two twin queen sized beds. The luxury tents also include a bathroom with a shower, toilet and twin wash basins. Each tent also comes with its own private plunge pool on the veranda, for cooling off on the hot summer days.

Breakfasts and lunches are served under shade below the main deck, close to the river’s edge. This is also where guests may sit and relax in the hammocks, swing chairs, on the sofa, or next to the firepit before dinner. Dinner is served on the main deck which is set with individual tables and chairs, and also has a number of larger sofas for guests to sit and relax on after dinner.

Being in the heart of the National Samburu Reserve, Elephant Bedroom Camp has ample game-viewing opportunities. Beside from the animals walking right through the campsite, the site offers day game drives, bush breakfasts and dinners, as well as guided bush walks. Guests can also request picnic lunches and sundowners, go on cultural visits, attend lectures on Samburu culture and be entertained by Samburu warriors.
