The only way to get to Kenya is by plane, unless you are travelling overland from southern Africa. Tickets to Kenya are generally most expensive from early July to late October and from mid-December to mid-January. Be sure to book as far in advance as possible, especially if you want to travel at these popular times.

We can offer a full Kenya holiday service including flight bookings but some clients save money by booking their flights themselves and we are happy to offer advice. For this reason the holiday prices we quote exclude flights and you should add around £700-£1000 per person to allow for the cost for flights to Kenya. To get the best prices you really need to book flights early as leaving to the last minute means you pay a premium.

Kenya has two major international airports: Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Mombasa Moi International Airport. There are various domestic airports and airfields connecting all major towns and safari destinations, and to other destinations in Africa.

There are direct flights with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic from London to Nairobi. Another option is to add a few days Zanzibar to relax on the beach or enjoy some watersports. There is a good connection between Nairobi and Zanzibar with Kenya Airways. From Zanzibar your flight back to the UK will be via Nairobi.
