Very well located in the center of Kyoto in a quiet area near restaurants and shops and just 12 a minute ride from the train station. There are a few convenient bus stops and Kokusaikaikan subway station is 10 minutes away by foot from the hotel. The charismatic Gion district and Nishiki Market are at walking distance making it a great accommodation option for exploring Kyoto.

Characterised by the good service and traditional but at the same time stylish and charming interior design, the aesthetic attention to detail is immediate. The guest lounge offers cold-brew coffee, refreshing drinks and tasty snacks in a cosy and casual atmosphere. The Japanese garden area is a lovely green touch that offers serenity and reflects the zen hotel concept.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped with many amenities and, in certain cases, a kitchen. The clean, stylish and minimalistic design combined with neutral colours evokes an atmosphere of tranquility.

There is also a small fitness room with garden views which has drinks and snacks.

The hotel's restaurant is at another wing in Tomi II building which is just two minutes away by foot. The restaurant offers Japanese-western fusion cuisine with a great variety of dishes combining flavours from Spain and Japan. There is a good variety of wines and sake to enjoy overlooking views of the garden. Open for breakfast and dinner.

Enso Ango is committed to sustainability and has created its own brand of shampoo and body gel, which is easily biodegradable and not tested on animals. The use of single-use plastics is limited in the hotel and it works with NGO organisations throughout Asia and use fair trade products.
