Villa Pizzini Stresa - IPM002

Villa Pizzini is a hidden gem. A charming villa tucked away in the mountains towering above Lago Maggiore, staying and dining here is a very special experience.

A must try on the menu is something special Sabina created. Cardinali Di Villa Pizzini with Liquid Heart of Parmesan and Black Truffle. Absolutely delicious!

3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10

Villa Pizzini is a must for those looking to experience the best of Italian gastronomy and hospitality. It is a restaurant with rooms, with the focus being on experiencing exceptional food, wine and the glorious surrounding great outdoors. Restoring Villa Pizzini to its current glory has been a labour of love for owners Ivan and Sabina, who discovered the abandoned building by chance some 5 years ago. It has been carefully restored and lovingly nurtured over the years creating a welcoming space for guests, with a heavy emphasis on creating seasonal menus using local, fresh ingredients and a handpicked cellar of wines.

There are three rooms at the property, two of which have the capacity to sleep up to four people comfortably. They are simple, clean and comfortable with ensuite shower rooms and lovely views across the spectacular surrounding landscape. Wifi is also available at the property.

Villa Pizzini is located in the mountains above Stresa on Lake Maggiore and can be reached by road and cable car. The cable car can take you from Stresa up in to the mountains and terminates just a few minutes walk from the villa, in under 20 minutes. Taxi transfers can also be arranged. The area is spectacular for hiking, rock climbing, vineyards and enjoying the great outdoors, whilst at the villa guests can enjoy a really delicious menu of authentic Italian food and a wide range of wines. Ivan and Sabina are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about seasonal, natural ingredients of the highest quality, and delicious wines to match the experience. Everything has a story, and Villa Pizzini is ideal for those who share passion in Italy’s gastronomic heritage.

We would recommend spending a night or two at Villa Pizzini to really make the most of the experience and enjoy a taste of life in the mountains. Guests are also spoilt with a delicious breakfast each morning, and various excursions and activities can be arranged from the property - from visits to local wineries to guided treks.

NB please note that the villa is closed on Mondays during the summer, and Mondays and Tuesdays during the rest of the season. Exceptions can be made for stays longer than one night. From mid October to mid December the villa closes completely.
