Monticelli is a wonderfully private property. After passing through the gate, you will wind through spectacular golf course, which rises past the Castle of Antognolla, and a small forest. At the crest of the hill are the gates of Monticelli.

Monticelli is available for rent from April to November and sleeps up to ten people. Children and pets are welcome. The main house and the guesthouse must be rented in conjunction with each other. There are three bedrooms in the main house and two bedrooms in the guest’s cottage. Each house has a living room, dining room, kitchen and bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, so perfect for self-sufficiency!

The two-bedroom guesthouse is situated across the pool from the main house in an elevated position. Each room opens onto the covered outdoor terrace, which is well appointed with ample, comfortable seating and is perfectly positioned to enjoy the glorious views of the property and surrounding valleys below.

As with most Italian homes, the kitchen is the heart of the home! The kitchen flows directly into the dining room, which will comfortably seat 10 people. Down a few steps from there, is the cosy living room with its grand fireplace. Then, passing through double doors, out onto the terrace to relax and take in the vista of the valley to the south towards Assisi. The perfect place for a sunset G&T!

The master bedroom in the main house of Monticelli is a highlight. With a four-poster bed, lounge area, ensuite bathroom with twin sinks, spacious shower and a large bathtub. The master suite is on the upper level of the house. Across the hall and a few short steps down is the second bedroom. This large bedroom has a writing desk, a soft comfortable chair for reading and ensuite bathroom with a large shower. Each bedroom has a stunning view.

The outdoor patio by the main house enjoys a wide and unspoiled view of the valley below. Perfect for dining with large groups or intimate parties.

On the lower level of the main house is the media room. With a big sofa, perfect for everyone to enjoy a movie night on the large flat screen TV.

The infinity pool at Monticelli sits between the main house and the guesthouse. The pool area is surrounded in teak decking. With eight sun lounges, cushions and several umbrellas, it is easy for everyone to relax in either sun or shade.

The gardens have been stylishly landscapes. Century old olive trees have been strategically placed throughout the grounds with atmospheric uplighting. The gardens are alive with roses, lavender, santolina and miniature daisies. Monticelli’s 5 acres are fully fenced and gated with an automatic entrance and exit gate.

Rentals are for 7-day periods. Bookings are from Friday to Friday. Check-in is after 4pm. Check out is by 10am the following Friday.

Rental includes:
Light housekeeping is provided mid week.
Bed linens and towels will be changed twice a week.
Additional maid service is available at extra cost.
Final cleaning is included in the rental fee.
Seasonal fruit, breads, water, milk, juice and other essentials will be provided upon arrival.

Additional services available: A welcome dinner, a private chef or cooking lessons can be booked upon request. Private airport transfers, drivers and guided day trips can be arranged through Fleewinter.
