The restoration of Sighé was a real labour of love. A historic abandoned stone farmhouse, dating back to the 17th century, underwent a careful and sensitive restoration to bring it back to life as a gorgeous romantic villa. Much of the original character has been retained, but with modern luxuries and contemporary design features seamlessly blended together. The location of the villa is perfect for a peaceful getaway and an authentic Italian experience. We recommend having a car so you can easily visit nearby Alessano, just 5 minutes away, to explore the atmospheric streets and stock up on the delicious local wines. A little further you can enjoy visits to Otranto and Gallopoli, and the glorious sandy beaches - both towns under an hour away by car.

The villa itself has one gorgeous bedroom with luxury en-suite shower room and sumptuous in-room bath. A well-equipped kitchen and open plan living room opens out on to the dreamy private terrace, featuring a heated plunge pool. A soft soothing colour scheme is maintained throughout, with thoughtful design features and fixtures to ensure a comfortable stay. The bedroom has a single day-bed too, so the villa can comfortably house a baby or small child too.
